The Institute of Kytheraismos was established in 2002 with the inaugural event staged on Kythera in the same year.  Since then Kytheraismos has evolved into an event that has been hosted off shore every second year.

2019 marks Brisbane's turn to host Kytheraismos and showcase everything Kytherian and Queensland.  It is an opportunity to come together as island families and celebrate our humble beginnings, our Kytherian achievements in Queensland and on the international stage.
